La Plaza emerges as a visionary project aimed at becoming the central hub for culture and entertainment in Almería, showcasing the best of contemporary art, including concerts, performances, exhibitions, workshops, and gastronomy.

The Plaza de Toros was inaugurated on August 26, 1888, and quickly became a cornerstone of Almería’s cultural heritage, later being designated a Monument of Cultural Interest. This classicist-style building, adorned with numerous neo-Mudejar details, is a true architectural gem.

With 8 grandstands, 60 boxes (50 of which are shaded), and a ring with a diameter of 48 meters, the venue’s capacity can vary depending on the event, accommodating anywhere from 6,500 to 9,800 people.
